Two Videos added today

We’ve added videos for “Wind of Change” (“Come, O Holy Spirit”) and “Deep in Our Hearts”.

“Wind of Change” (words by Fred Kaan) is a bare-bones, but spirited vocal and piano version sung by Sheelah Megill. Her vocal energy inspired Ron to play with his ‘days-of-old-bar-band-rock-a-billy’ style! This video version includes sing-along words for congregation and/or other musical groups.

“Deep in Our Hearts” (words by John Oldham) is a live recording from a one of a kind Epiphany Explorations event at First+Metropolitan United Church in Victoria, BC. Led by 20 musicians, a choir of 242 voices and a congregation of 500, this recording was challenging to create. In spite of its technical limitations, however, it captures a very special moment in a “hymncert” like no other. The event included writers Walter Farquharson, Linnea Good, Bruce Harding, Fred Kaan, Sheelah Megill, John Oldham and Brian Wren.
