In the story of Moses standing before God, and becoming aware that he is on holy ground, we learn that there is nowhere and no time the Creator is not near.
All faith traditions tell us that the earth – it’s creatures, it’s times and seasons – is holy ground. Christian teaching includes the understanding that all creation is the Incarnation, the meeting place in which we experience the presence of the Holy One.
Indigenous peoples teach that the earth, it’s waters, plants and creatures invite us into relationship, generously providing for our needs. We are called to approach creation with humility and respect.
