Come Join the Dance

Lyrics as Poetry

“Come join the dance,” the Spirit says,
“with creatures all around;
come join the dance with laughing heart;
let Nature’s song resound.”

“This cosmic tune has echoed long
through furthest realms of space,
has planted hope and holy love
on every wondering face.”

“This dance is dance of justice true,
of mercy and of peace,
of ancient wrongs being righted now,
with health and love increased.”

“Come join the dance”, the Spirit says
though tired and fatigued;
God’s harvest may seem long delayed –
trust Sower, and trust seed.”

“Come join the dance”, the Spirit says
“shake off the curse of fear;
these rhythms that invite
still plant God’s promise near.”

“Come join the dance”, the Spirit says
“don’t fear that you might fall;
this dance of holy, healing Love,
this circle welcomes all.”
