Melody Line: ‘F’ Instrument (low)

IN GENERAL:
Melody Line versions provide the opportunity for singers and players to use the music as solos for preludes, offertories or other musical moments. They are also useful for leading and supporting congregational singing. Consider using this feature as a way of engaging children or young people who are studying a musical instrument.

THIS VERSION:
This version is primarily intended for Horn in F players. However, because of the wide range of this instrument, please note that there are two ‘F’ transpositions: this one — “‘F’ Instrument (low)”; and “‘F’ Instrument (high) which is one octave higher. Both are offered in Treble Clef, which is generally the choice of hornists unless notation exceeds five ledger lines.
