Vancouver Island Gospel & World Music Choir
VIGWM choir is an ecumenical/community choir with singers from throughout the central Vancouver Island area directed by BRIAN TATE. The choir is a cooperative effort between Knox United Church (Parksville, BC) and Musiklus and is administered by a volunteer Advisory Group comprised of choir members Kathryn Barnwell, Linda Burrows, Ann Cameron, Carolyn Gretsinger, Maggie McLaren, Joy McLean, and Phyllis Thompson (Lead Administrator).

BRIAN TATE is an award-winning composer, musician, and educator. Brian is the music minister at Mt. Seymour United Church in North Vancouver and offers choir workshops across Canada. Friend-kin-ship with Ron Klusmeier led to the formation of the VIGWM Choir and Brian’s now regular journeys to Vancouver Island.
